Winemaker's Lot Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah 2006
This Winemaker's Lot was obtained by blending 60% Cabernet Sauvingnon, 20% Syrah and 20% Carmenere. Each lot was carefully selected and vinefied separately. Lot 169, selected from the best Cabernet Savingnon grown in the famous Puente Alto vineyard of Maipo Valley, one of the best sited for this variety due to a soil structure not dissimiliar to Bordeaux's left bank, gives structure and frshness to the wine. The lot 1620 Syrah delivers full aromas and intense fruit, while the lot 17 Carmanere rounds the blend off with the characteristic smoothness and gentelness of this variety.
